Upgrade to iPhone 5 or Samsung S4?

I know this question has been asked multiple times, but I was wondering what the opinion was based on my specific needs.
I'm very tiny. 5'2 and my hands are maybe 6 inches from palm to tip of middle finger. I'm a full time student and work full time as well. I'm constantly on the go and I do a lot of traveling!
Currently, I have an iPhone 4s. I'm very clumsy with it, and I have shattered it 5 times. It's a costly repair, so I'm currently just walking around with a shattered phone because my upgrade is coming up.
Anyways, I'm an "apple snob" I guess. I have a MacBook Pro, that I love. As well as an iPad that I love as well. However, these items are not used as much as my phone is. So I love these products, and I think it's convenient to have an iPhone because the cloud saves my pictures to my MacBook. Which is very convenient.

With all that said my top gripes about a new phone are:
1) Battery Life: I need something with a very substantial battery life. As I said, I'm constantly on the go. I'm constantly checking emails and checking social media sites. Currenly, with my 4S I only get about 4-6 hours at a time and that's assuming my Wi-Fi is off, my brightness is on it's lowest setting, and I cut back on using Internet based apps.
2) Size: As I said, I'm tiny. I'm not sure how big of a phone I could handle. I like things that can easily fit in one hand and I can text with one hand as well.
3) Stability: I need something that is going to provide very, very good stability throughout it's life. No battery wear, no malfunctions, etc.
4) Camera: I use my phone as a primary camera and would want the best of the best quality.

*Side Note:* If anybody has opinions about the 5S/6 whatever will be the next iPhone, you can use that in the comparison as well.

Sound coming from my external iPhone battery?

This may seem like an awkward question, but since when did batteries make a whirring sound? It's not like they have movable parts inside like a hard drive. I'll post the link to the exact external battery later.

Is the iPhone 4 the same shape as the iPhone 4S?

I'm soon getting an iPhone 4S and I have found a really nice case that I would like for it when I eventually get it. The case is for an iPhone 4 though, and I'm worried that it won't fit the iPhone 4S.
Are they both the same size?

How to make a new iTunes account?

I share my apple ID with my husband. We both have iphones and whenever one of us downloads music or something, we both get it. I have been having space issues on my phone. I barely have any apps or pictures but my phone is full. It just does not add up. The verizion people said that I need to get a separate apple ID from my husband. How can I do that? I think I know that if I sign out of my current itunes on my computer, and then instead of logging in again I can just set up a new one. If I do that how will it work on my phone and is that the best way?

Searching for a network-attached storage?

I'm searching for a NAS (network-attached storage) that has the ability to share its files with iPhone, Macs and Windows PC. I was thinking of 4TB of storage. This for example: http://www.synology.com/products/product.php?product_name=DS112j. Any other products?

Should i buy an ipod touch 5th gen or an iphone 4. Which is better?

It's 2013 and i can't make up my mind what to buy. I'm a teenager and they say that Ipod5g is good and faster but the iphone4s is a phone and you can communicate with your friends and it's handy for some internet connections, but the ipod has an imessage and they are basically the same, but the camera and lot of good stuffs are in the ipod touch 5th generation but only works in Wi-Fi and not outdoors. I still can't decide what to buy.
