I have an iPhone 4s that I haven't used in a couple years and I'm trying to turn it on, but it's completely dead and still charging. How can I turn it on without using the power button, because it is jammed? And i don't think I remember the passcode to it either, is there a way I can factory reset it once it is turned on? And also, is there a way for me to replace the sim card with my current one?

Added (1). when we go out of of town the place we stay has a better signal than my Wi-Fi, but its not so great- I need it to work for emergency purposes at home and its quite spotty- is there a way to get a booster or antenna with out connecting to a router to make it stronger?

So, funny story, i lost my old iPhone 6s Plus in the ocean while swimming in Mexico. Ha. Since i don't have that phone any longer, i'm having no luck in activating my replacement iPhone (same type as my original) Let me explain: iCloud backup needs a verification code sent to my phone number. Don't have my old phone and can't change the number. ITunes backup requires me to sign into iTunes on my laptop, but i need a verification code for that, too. Activating as a new iPhone still requires Apple ID and a verification code. See my problem? I'm extremely frustrated and i'm going into Boston soon (don't know what day exactly because i can't contact anyone) and i need to be able to let my parents know where i'm and all that jazz. So, you can see why i need a solution As soon as possible.
Would it be worth buying a Iphone 6s+ at a gumtree or would buying an Iphone 7s+ be more of a benefit? - 1
