I bought an iPhone 4S today from Radio Shack through Virgin Mobile, and after screwing around online trying to get my phone switched, it finally said that I successfully swapped.
Now, it gave me instructions on how to activate it, and connect it to the network.
The problem is, it says I had to do this when I first set-up the phone, and it's a little late for that.
How can I connect it to the phone network now?
I have an iPhone 5 running the latest iOS 6.1.2, and I created a new apple ID with the device, because I was previously sharing an older apple ID with my sister. I tried downloading items from the iTunes app on my 4th generation iPod touch with both accounts just by signing out and signing into another one. Then I tried doing the same thing with my iPhone 5 and a pop-up said I have to wait 90 days to use another apple ID. Is there any way I don't have to wait the 90 days, and associate my iPhone 5 with two apple ID's?
My iPhone 4 memory keeps decreasing memory and its annoying me
every time i look back at the memory count when i'm not using any app and i do the thing where you press the home button twice to stop apps your not using it still decreases memory. Its *** annoying how this happens i think apple or whoever does this on purpose to get people to buy more memory and i can't turn off my Wi-Fi cuz of the data plan thing. I only have 6.3 gb and have like 40 mb left and every time it decreases no matter what i do delete emails recent calls, anything it still decreases how do i stop this!
I have a iphone 4s. I used to never have problems with my phone but then I went away for a month and my mom had my phone for the month. Once I returned there was something off with my phone. If i receive a text message it just doesn't alert me. It doesn't ring or vibrate and when you hit the home button and it displays your lockscreen/wallpaper it doesn't show I have a text message. The only way I can find out if I got a text message is if I hit the home button, then type in my password to unlock the phone and then I manually look. Normally it rings and when you get a text message on your lock screen it will say you got a message with the persons name next to it but I literally have nothing. Its very strange though. If i'm using my phone and I get a text it will ring, but once my phone locks up I won't get any alert whatsoever. When I get phone calls it will ring and it will even say missed call by whoever on my lockscreen. It also seems like my phone will also ring if my phone is not officially locked where I got to type in my password. I have the setting on 5 minutes before my phone locks up where i need to type in my 4 digit number to unlock it. Now if my phone is locked where i got the black screen but it hasn't been 5 minutes yet so I don't need my 4 digit password to get in, it will ring. But once my phone locks where I need my password I get no alert. It is the strangest thing ever. I need to know how to get my texts to ring again and I also need to know how I can get it to display on my lock screen/wallpaper so I know I got a message. And don't tell me to make sure I put a ringer on my text message cause it is there so its not the problem. Please help because I miss half my text messages because there in no way I can possibly know i got a text until I type in my password and look manually.
So, I downloaded some new music to my computer from "Pirate Bay" (shhhh) and I had no trouble adding the first 6 albums (files) to my iTunes library, and then adding them onto my iPhone. Simple. All of a sudden I go to add yet another album to my library and iTunes didn't respond whatsoever. I tried it for what seems like 7 million more times, and still nothing. It's pissin' me off, that's for sure. I looked up the problem, and found a page on the apple website where a BUNCH of people were having the same problem but there wasn't anything on how to fix it.
If anyone has any solution to this problem; please lemme know! It'd be deeply appreciated! This is killing me. I need my music!
Do not tell me metro is only cdma and can't take Sim cards. Obviously, they do.
I've had my iPhone since August, I had no problems with it until my parents bought me speakers for my phone to play music, not an iHome, but similar to that. Ever since I've been using the speakers, my phone has not been playing music, creating lock sounds or typing sounds without being on the speakers. I have tried everything, blowing in the earphone socket thing, or where the charger goes. Toggling the lock buttons. It used to play music on the charger too, but now it's not even doing that anymore. I don't want to send my phone in for the company to fix it, any solutions?
Ps. I dropped my phone in the toilet a few months ago before I got the speakers. But that never caused a problem with sounds, so I highly doubt that's the reason.
Added (1). It is not on vibrate, music is supposed to play on vibrate anyways.
I was wondering if i can put an Iphone 4 or higher. Do I haf to get a certain "kind" of Iphone. Do I haf to spend extra money to get it so that i can put it on Metro PCs because I really just want to find a cheap I phone 4 or higher. Can I use a 4s? 5?

I then searched ultrasn0w and it came up, I've installed it, but it still isn't reading my sim…
what can I do?!
