No-Contract iPhone 4/4S vs Contract iPhone 5?

What Would You Do?
I have the option to do either.
I Really want to get myself an iPhone, I haven't had one in forever,
Been on Team Blackberry for a Long Time

I could buy an iPhone 4 for $300 + $45 for my first month or $400 or,
an iPhone 4S + $45 for my first month on Virgin Mobile USA
over the course of 2 years (because I take really good care of phones)
I could spend $1, 380 or $1, 480 resepectively

or I could sign a contract with Sprint (which is VM's service provider) to get the iPhone 5 for $150
with unlimited data on the everything data plan or sign with AT&T and monitor my data usage around the clock and spend an average of $100 per month because of the taxes and all that "fun" stuff
let's average it out at $110 per month for 2 years I would spend roughly at least $2, 790 at the end of my 2 year contract

It makes a lot of sense to go the Virgin Mobile USA Route however, I had VMUSA before and the coverage was horrible however, this was nearly 4 years ago
I checked the maps and everything, I'm covered very well were I spend the most of my time
the only "luxury" I find in having the iPhone on a contract carrier is that if Anything is wrong then I know I can go to that carrier's store or call the company or something
not saying I can't with Virgin Mobile but they take forever if you have anything wrong with your phone.

I will not buy apple care, I think it's a waste of money for the Virgin Mobile iPhone's however on the contract company I would buy it.

It's really bothering me on what to do, I want to upgrade to an iPhone and I would go the Android route but I just don't like Android's so much not saying I'm against them, but, If I had to choose
I would most certaintly go the iPhone way vs. Android anyday
but the Android's on prepaid companies are cheaper
some as low as $40
and high as $ 500

either way, I really prefer knowing exactly how much I'm going to spend per month but I'm not sure if Virgin Mobile is the best way to go, it certaintly is affordable but that upfront cost is what has me,
I just don't feel comfortable paying so much for a phone especially knowing it's only going to last for a good 2 years maybe even less
maybe a year or so.
who know's though, could last 3 or 4 years. But still
honestly, what would you do

I just feel that I would nearly rather spend the money on a tattoo(s) than a phone
but, It would be an upgrade to myself

Dropped my iPhone 4s in toilet! Home alone

I dropped my iPhone 4s in the toilet! I'm home alone and my parents are going to get really worried when I don't answer their texts. I'm only 13. Eeek! I was going to go to the bathroom and forgot my phone was in my back pocket. I dropped it in and got it out 2 mins later (nastiest thing ever reaching into a toilet >.<) I have never done this and never thought I'd be one of those people who drops their phone in a toilet --- But anyway, it's screen came up and I tried typing in my passcode but it started freaking out (went black, volume sign came up, etc) Just freaking out. I never got a chance to turn it off. I dried it off with a towel then shook it (to get some of the water out) and some water did come out so I dried it and kept shaking it all the way downstairs and into the kitchen where I put it in a bag of rice. What do I do? I got on facebook and had my friend send my mom a text, but I know my parents are gonna be so disappointed. Is there a way I can still save it? Or is it beyond repair? ;/ Thanks!

T-Mobile unlimited internet too good to be true?

Is anyone on the T-Mobile Full Monty tariff that includes 'unlimited data'? Does this mean browsing and downloading? Or are they catching me out and only including browsing? Is watching youtube videos, chatting on facebook, or using AA route planner classed as downloading?

Any help really appreciated. I ordered an iphone 4s with them today and now I'm a little concerned that I'll be stung with extra charges. I know tethering isn't included, but i don't need that anyway.

Can sprint do this with my iphone 4?

So i went to a store well not a store but a guy was selling me an iphone 4 and i told him that i wanted an unlimited iphone 4 plan for 50 so he told me to call sprint (the iohone is from sprint) so i call them and they said they didn't had that plan but that boost mobile had it and that they would put boost mobile as my plan scince they have the 50 dollars unlimited so i was wondering is it true? Around how much is the activation and the sim card? Do they charge you like verizon for having the smarthphoe plus the line?

IPhone 4S lock button not working?

My 4s ran out of warranty at the end of December, so did my insurance and since then it has been crashing a lot, sometimes won't accept the charger as a supported accessory and most importantly the other day, the lock button on the top is just not clicking or even working now.

So I can't switch the phone off and I wouldn't be able to turn it on if it died. What are the chances of Apple replacing it for me do you think? Gonna go to the Trafford centre branch tomorrow if chances are good… Thanks.
