No one can hear me when I call from my new iPhone 4?

I upgraded my phone today to an iPhone 4 - when I tried to make a phone call, I could hear the other person fine but they could not hear me at all.

Tried recording a video and also a memo and the microphone was not picking up anything. I have taken all of the plastic film off the phone to make sure that nothing was being blocked and still no luck.

Tried clearing the top microphone an bottom one just in case they were blocked by something - still didn't work.

The only time I can be heard by the other person is if I plug in the earphones? Makes no sense!

Has anyone had this problem or know of any solution? I'm currently in the process of downloading a software update to see if that will solve anything.

Any help/advice would be appreciated - this is driving me crazy!

How much data is used on the iPhone 5 when just opening the Facebook app?

How much data is used just looking at your newfeed? Also what about other apps like twitter and so on? And is 300mb a good amount of data for the iPhone 5?

Chest pain when smoking or yelling (strange story)?

Back in September I was on two hits of powerfull hits of LSD. I was using nitrous oxide during the peek and started to pass out. As I was passin out what I saw terrified me and I began to hyperventilate way to quickly and aggressively so I really wasn't getting the oxygen then that I needed. I yelled as loud as I could just as i passed out and i felt the life get sucked out of me. But very little noise came out when I yelled. When I regained consciousness I had extreme pain my right side of my chest. I went to the hospital and got an X-ray and said they couldn't see anything and they told me the pain was probably imaginary. It's been 3 months and the pain is almost gone unless I yell or try to smoke weed. And when the pain starts the right side of my body starts to throb. What did I do to my lungs/chest. That's a short summary of what happened. I really want to able to smoke again buy it hurts to much. I typed this on my iPhone typos everywhere probably.

My USB ports won't work with iPhone/iPod?

I just got an iPhone 4s 3 days ago. I had all of my contacts transferred from my old phone, but when I connected it to my computer to transfer my music/apps from my iPod touch, they all got deleted. Everything else was transferred however. I performed the necessary iTunes update etc. But I don't understand why my contacts were erased. My phone also will not connect to my home Wi-Fi, but it will to all of the other wireless routers I have tried. I only included those two bits in case they might be of help to my real problem (I can fix the other two I think), which is the fact that I tried to connect my phone to my computer today, and it won't even charge, let alone be recognized by iTunes. I tried to connect my iPod as well, no luck with that either. They both connect to other computers and the wall. My computer's USB ports have no problems when I plug a wireless mouse, printer, and jump drive into it. Can someone please tell me why my computer is behaving this way with only my iPhone/iPod?

Iphone 5 Battery life issue?

So I recently got a 16g Iphone 5 as a gift but the problem is that it seems to drain a lot faster than any apple products iIve used (Itouch/Iphone 3, 4 gen).Is there any way to possibly reduce the battery drainage. Iv'e heard from friends that you need to completely drain your phone and then recharge it after and keep it for a day or so.

Does Verizon require a contract?

For Christmas I really want an iPhone. My parents have us with MetroPCS but they have no iPhones; so, I'm trying to convince them to move to Verizon. But, my parents are illegals and said they need to be documented to have phones with contracts. Does Verizon have any plans that don't need a contracts? P. S. Please no hate on my lovely parents.

Where can I get an iPhone 4 cheapest on contract?

I'm looking for an iPhone 4 (possibly 4S) on contract with a minimum of 200 mins and unlimited texts (and maybe internet if possible). I know this is a lot to ask but can someone find it for under £20 a month for 24 months or less (you can still tell me if it is higher then 24 months but try to get below).
If you find a deal for me for £25 or under, tell me about that too. Can it also be under £50 to pay for the phone.

16GB iPhone 5 or 32GB iPhone 5?

I was looking to buy a iPhone, I already own a 32GB iPod 4th generation so I was thinking that I could just keep all my music on that. Suggestions? -Thanks

How to get my iMessage to work?

I have iPhone 3GS. It's on 5IOS I believe. I can't get my iMessage to work. I have tried turning iMessage tab off and on and all it says is waiting for activation. When attempting to MSG someone on iPhone, it does go blue but when sending, says not delivered. In the settings it says verifying for the phone number. It won't let me click on it or anything. I have a jail broken phone so can't restore etc etc. It's frustrating as I have no signal where I live and so I need this to contact people. If anyone can help I would appreciate it! Like I said, I've tried all the basics. Even apple website just say turn off then back on etc etc.
