I just bought a used iPhone 4s and apparently it's been blocked. I paid £250 and feel like iv been totally shafted. I wasn't aware of the imei numbers that networks use to block phones. Can anyone recommend how I can minimize my losses. Can the phone be unblocked or maybe used in India?
My friend is willing to give me her Iphone 4s but her family didn't pay the bills on it so i doesn't really work for her. But if I put my sim card into it will it work for me, if I use my own plan? She sais it won't because the phone doesn't work for her. But i think its only because of the whole bill thing? Will it work with my sim card?

I'm getting the iPad mini for Christmas and I only want the music from my iTunes on the ipad mini, not my apps or anything else from my phone (iphone 4). If I chose restore from iTunes. Is that all it will do? (I plan on making a new Apple ID) I don't want anything else backed up from my phone by using the same iTunes account!
Ok so I heard that since my old Polaroid has film and its the old kind where the picture comes right out when you take it, that the security x-rays will damage the very expensive film. With that being said I wanted to put it with my others luggage that I will not be carrying on. But I'm flying out of Philadelphia international which is known for frauds stealing things from your bags when they go through them, so it's either ruin the camera, take the risk of getting it stolen or just leave it home and use my iPhone as a camera.

Just don't understand where to put the card.
So my iphones screen got broken and has been sent of for repair. I took out my simcard and put it in a new phone however when people send messages from a iphone to me it sends a imessage to my broken phone what i don't recive as its been sent of for repair. Does anyone no how i can get around this so that people can't send imessages to my phone just a text message so i will recive it?
Recently I decided to leave Metro Pcs because I hate it. Dropped calls, EXTREMELY slow internet, and too much error pop ups when I try to text and stuff. I decided to switch to Sprint and get the iphone 5. The reception on Sprint Network where I live and do daily errands is great (I live in NY),
My dilemma is, I want to port my existing number from Metro to Sprint. Sprint asked for the account number BUT while on metro, I was on a family plan with my mother. She paid the bills and everything, but I don't know if we share the same account number or not. Every time a bill is paid whether I use my number or her number to pay it off, we BOTH receive the same message with the same account number. Do we have a joint account number?
I don't want to end up porting her number instead of mines. Sprint also ask for social security number, so if I use our joint account number, will my social security number be linked to MY existing number. Is that how they can tell which number to port.
I'm so confused and want to do this right!
I just got my iphone 4s 2 days ago after upgrading from the 4 and i don't know what the problem is but the battery dies way to fast. I just had to turn it off to save some power until i got off from work. I turned Wi-Fi off, turn the brightness on low and off auto, etc. If anyone else has any suggestions on what i should turn off or do ill take it. My windows phone was like this and i immediately took it back.i've been dealing with the iphone since the very first one that came out and never had this problem.
I want to get another piercing, I was thinking about a facial piercing but I was wondering if there was a web site or an app to the iPhone that would show me what I would look like with it just in case I don't like what it looks like.
