Water damaged iphone

Alright ill give you a quick background,
I went to sleep and left a cup of water on my bedside little shelfy-thing along with my iPhone 4s. Sometime in the night i knocked over the cup of water onto my phone and it pooled by the phone. The phone was just far enough into the water i know it got wet. When i woke up (I went to bed around 5:30am i believe and awoke around ten) The phone was turned off and it was wet. The thing that makes me a little more hopefully is i don't generally move around much when i'm sleeping until i'm about to wake up so i'm hoping i knocked it over not long before i woke up. (the phone was almost dead when i went to bed so it may have died before i ever spilled the water on it, i don't know if that would effect anything at all) anyways so i awoke to this disaster and immediately dried it off and went to the store to get rice. I put it in the bag of rice and sealed the bag. I then called verizon to ask the what i should do, they told me to do exactly what i had done and leave it for at least 24 hours and it should work. I left it untouched for 24 hours but when i took it out it didn't turn on or light up when i tried to turn it on and the same when i plugged it in. I read more and people suggested sticking it in the rice longer. I have now left it around 48 more hours and i want to try it again tomorrow afternoon when it will be the full 48 extra. I'm wondering what you guys think the chances are this phone will survive? I'm a broke college student and I'm really hoping it makes it… Also what are the chances if it does survive i will have the messages i received before and after its swim? I had some important messages from work that i really need to get to and i'm stressing a little about when or not they will be there or not! If this does not work is it worth it to buy a water damage revival kit? I've heard of people doing that and it working so i want to know if its worth the 25 bucks. What I'm really wondering is what are the chances it will work from the rice alone and if the rice doesn't work what else can/should i do? Anything possible to save this phone would be great. I know insurance doesn't cover water damage so I'm wondering what i should do.

Getting music from my iPhone to iTunes?

So my computer was just recently cleaned and all my music is off of my computer. I really want to burn a CD for my car but I can't.So, I was wondering if there was an easy way to get all my music onto my computer for this task. The new iTunes recognizes what I have on my phone, and I can listen to it on my computer… But that's about it! It won't let me import them or move them to the iTunes library on my computer!
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Is there an iPhone app that allows you to block photos?

I've tried a few and they're all complicated. They make you transport all your pictures into an app instead of locking the photos on the iPhone. I want it to lock the photos as soon as you click on the photo app. I want it to ask for a passcode to access the pictures ON the phone itself, NOT through an app. Like a feature or something?
My sister always goes into my pictures when she uses my phone to talk to my dad and sees my private pictures.

Can you unlock an iPhone 4 and not have a data plan with AT&T?

I have several friends who have unlocked smartphones and they said they use them without a data plan, only talk and text. All of them have T-Mobile and I was wondering if I could do the same for an iPhone 4 or 4S and have a text/talk plan. I'm in a family plan and I usually get 2 year-contracts on AT&T. Is it possible?

Lost my Iphone 5 and its dead?

I lost/misplaced my phone in school somewhere and I went again school to find it and I couldn't. I was thinking a lot a while ago because I had a game and I just lost it in my mind that I was holding my phone. Now its either crashed by the bleachers (because they have to roll it so the volleyball team could play) or I left it in the locker room and someone found it and picked it up. I don't know how I'm supposed to tell my parents. I'm really scared and freaking out here and its my first time losing something that important. It has insurance so is there anyway I could get a new one?

Has Anyone Had Any Problems with Virgin Mobile?

I'm Dragging My Feet Along Saving the Money to Purchase an iPhone 4S from Virgin Mobile
for Obvious Reasons (the Price)
I Feel Really "Sick" in Switching Because of The Fact that I Had them Before,. The Coverage Sucked
But They Served their Purpose for me of Needing a Cell Phone
Now I Have AT&T Which Has Been The Best Carrier for Me
But, I Really Want to Upgrade my Phone

Right Now I Have the Pantech Link-Which is Basically a Dumb Smartphone
(its Does Everything a Blackberry Would Do for You)

I Get The BEST Coverage and Have Never Been Happier
However I Was Considering Signing the Contract for AT&T's 4S or 5 But, I Would Be Giving Up My Unlimited Data Which is Not Something I Want to Lose
Also With Virgin Mobile I Could Save Nearly $2, 000+ over the Course of 2 Years
So,… I'm Asking
