I have the newest itunes software and its way different and i want to sync music from my itunes library onto my phone but i can't figure it out… Please help!

Ok my iphone 4 was stolen out of my locker and my case was on it. I received the case with a holder about 3 months ago. Will otterbox replace my case? If so how can i explain it to them so i can get another 1?
P.S i got iphone back but theif did something with case i have no idea what he did. I really need another case before something happens to my phone
There's a password that you put in when you start up the iPhone, but it is not the lock screen password. This password is used if you need to reset any of the settings. I forgot the password, how can I reset it?
The instagram app will not open I have a iphone 4s. It was working at first but something messed up then when i tried to open it again it just closed after 3 seconds. I have tried to reinstall it plenty of times and still fails to work.

I just got an iPhone charger that wasn't apple brand on Amazon for cheap. People are telling me that it isn't going to work or it will eventually start to ruin my phone. I just recently got an iPhone 5 too so I have no interest in having to buy a new one because the charger is going to ruin it. Will the things people keep telling me really happen?

Me and my brother are on my moms plan and there are no more upgrades to cross with(we have at&t). I upgraded a few months ago but you see, what had happened was, something happened and now i'm back to a 3gs. So i was wondering is there a way to get the 5 without needing an upgrade or having to pay full price?
My brother messed up the iPhone 3 and it can only do emergency calls. No apps, musics, videos, photos, nothing. Just emergency calls. My brother claims that he wanted to update some stuff, but he really means that he wanted to move the ringtones (musics, photos, apps, etc.) from his iPod to his iPhone. But he used the computer to do it, and sort of messed it up. Do you guys know how to change it back to its original form - the iPhone 3 - or a least reset it?
Added (1). Edit: My brother did in fact update the phone with the sim card. The sim card won't work. And I don't know where I could restore the phone.
Added (2). Edit 2: All right, I found how to restore it, but the thing is, something's wrong with the sim card. Anybody knows how to help?
I would be getting an iphone 5 for christmas, but some of my friends told me that iphone 5's google map is totally messed up. I'm not sure about anything else but can someone tell me what is the difference between iphone 5 and iphone 4s? I'm sorta indecisive as to which one i should buy
