Say I'm looking to buy a used iPhone 5.
How can I tell if it is CDMA or GSM?
Is there a way to check the settings or something? I don't have SIMs for different networks either, since it only takes nano SIM.
I don't want to have to go to the store and have them swap to a nano sim just to check it and then swap back if it doesn't work.
There must be an easier way?
I'm not sure if its called the background light, its like the light for when you turn on your phone all of that.okay so i dropped it a little and then i tried to turn it on and it won't work but the sound works like i've gotten texts and calls and i can hear them just the light won't go on
I can text my friend and it comes up in blue and he has an iphone but my other friend has an iPhone but it comes up in green

I'm getting a new phone soon and am torn between the iPhone 5 and the Samsung Galaxy Note II… My current phone is an iPhone 3GS but with the market increasingly driven by Android phones and the more open-sourced nature of the Android Market (never mind the fact that the Note has some pretty awesome features) is making me question which one to get. I like the features of both and was originally leaning towards the new iPhone, but I've heard some unflattering things about this latest model (besides the Maps debacle) and how it wasn't really an improvement on the 4… Any thoughts?
