I recently bought an iPhone off of eBay. It is an unlocked at&t phone, and I'm using it with Straight Talk's unlimited prepaid plan, as it is cheaper than regular contract plans. The only thing is, my data doesn't work unless I'm connected to a local Wi-Fi network. Can someone help me resolve this please?
Does the new map application re-route you if you take a wrong turn? I know the older phone didn't re-route and just left you on your own to figure it out. It only displayed the map route but it wouldn't re-route. Will the iPhone 5 re-route you?
Just did the IOS 6 update on both mine and moms iphone 4s and its fun. I tried the play sound on find iphone app on my phone to hers and it went off and i'm like o cool. But now its frozen on the lock screen saying find my iphone alert and everything is frozen when I go to hit ok it does absolutely nothing and I tried restoring so i'm not sure what to do.
Will virgin mobile let me use an unlocked iPhone 4?
It's been like 6 hours and it's still in the 2nd restore process & only moved slightly. I'm heading to sleep shortly but if its not done by the morning I'm going down to the apple store & seeing if they can fix it…
I currently have it in iTunes right now as well trying to do a manual restore but its making me download the iOS 6 before I do that and it says I have to wait another 24 hours before its done installing… Is there anything else I can do in the meantime? Its pretty irritating.
Added (1). Finally got it! Just had to do a manual hard reset.

I got iOS 6 on my iPod and I HATE it and so does everyone else that has it. My mom's iPhone 4S is downloading it right now and she wants to know how to stop it. She doesn't have a computer to plug her phone into, so she can't restore it. How do you stop it!
So I just updated my iPhone 4S with the new iOS 6 update everything seems to be working fine with the exception of my text notification sounds being softer/silent that usual all other sounds like calls, music, keyboard sounds seem fine but not the text sounds wanted to know if anyone else might have same problem or if its just me?
I did a restore on my iPhone and I forgot to save the pictures of the camera roll and now they are basically gone. If I right click the iPhone on iTunes and click on restore from backup there's the option to pick the backup I want and there's the backup from before the restore. So if I restore from that backup will my photos be restored to my camera roll?
