Will the iPhone 5 be back in stock by October 7th?
My Verizon contract ends on October 7th and I'm looking to buy the new iPhone 5. I was wondering if there's any chance that a store might have one in stock for me that day. If not, how soon do you think I will be able to get one in stores?
Ok, so here's the story. The iPhone 5 is coming out this Friday, and I'm planning on camping outside the AT&T store Thursday night so I will be able to buy one. And I'm gonna be there from about 4 in the afternoon until 8 in the morning. So that's about 15 hours of being there.So, my question is, what all do I need to know? I've never done this before. How will I go to the bathroom? What should I bring to eat? How should I prepare for the cold weather? I probably can't bring blankets, because I will need to carry everything i brought, into the store. So please just tell me everything I need to know about this whole thing. Any tips or suggestions would be awesome! 10 points best answer! I live in Wisconsin so it will be cold for sure. Should I even try to sleep? What should I do with my money so it doesn't get stolen? Etc… Sorry I'm unsure what category to put this in…
I'm a 17 year old kid who lost something no teenager wants to lose, their cell phone! I was on vacation and I was in a taxi in D. C. And somehow my phone slipped out of my pocket and hit the ground without me knowing until I got out. I flew back home to Nebraska without my phone the next day with no phone. Initially I gave up looking for my phone after 3 days but my mom didn't. She looked on craigslist
and what do you know, some moron has my phone. How do I know it's my phone? Well besides the fact that it has the exact same scratches and dings that mine does and the man says that he found it in a cab in the same area that I was dropped off. When called him because the number was on his ad and we told him the situation and he we gave him the serial number on my phone to prove it. He claimed we had all of the numbers right until we got to the last six digits. Riiiiight ok dude! So now he refuses to plug in my phone so we can call it. If he was so sure it wasn't my phone then why wouldn't he plug it in to prove his point? So that he can still make some money that's why. To make matters worse, he first edited his add so that it didn't say where he found it and then he just deleted the ad in general. We managed to get his personal info such as name and address but where do we go from here? My phone service provider has been ZERO help, i think they just want me to cough up some extra cash and buy a new phone because everytime I call customer service or go to their retail store they won't shut up about the iPhone 4S on sale. Can I file a police report or something because it is technically stolen, he knew it wasn't his and he made zero effort to find out who it belongs to and tried to make a quick buck off the phone? Please just tell me how I can get my phone back!

Added (2). I'm sorry I forgot to mention. He lives in maryland and I live in nebraska. We both just happened to be in the DC area when i lost my phone in the cab. He just happened to pick the cab where i dropped my phone:/
And I don't mean the logo, I mean the actual carrier. I currently have Sprint that turned off my service for not paying my bill on time (whoops) and I was looking online and Virgin Mobiles iPhone plans are very cheap. My phone is already jailbroken so I don't need to do that.
A person who is on my family plan is using their phone upgrade to get an iPhone 5. I currently have a Galaxy Nexus. When the new iPhone is activated on their number, can we then switch phones so I would have the iPhone and my original number, and they have the Nexus? Does the iPhone to android factor affect this switch.
Should I? It's slowing down and i don't want to mess it up anymore. Should I unjailbreak it?

My mom is going to get me and my brother the iphone 4 because she doesn't want to spend 300 dollars for 2 iphone 4s's and she doesn't want to get the iphone 5 which will cost a good 500 to 600 hundred for 2 phones! Is it bad that i'm getting the 4? Also will it run slow because i will have a 2 year contact and i don't want to be stuck with a slow phone for 2 years!
BTW i added tax onto those numbers!
Is the iPhone 5 worth buying at full retail price?
My old phone was turning off all the time and my mom had an old iphone 3 that she doesn't use anymore. I took her iphone and put my SIM card into it. I then plugged it into the computer and registered it with itunes. Will this charge my AT&T bill? I don't want to pay for data yet? I didn't activate it through AT&T, but now I'm kind of worried it will. Will the phone work okay without calling AT&T to activate it?
