2 3.5mm inputs into 1 output. Will this setup work?

I want to take 2 audio sources and feed them into 1 pair of headphones

along with a fem to fem adapter for the single end and two double male 3 foot cords to connect the female ports to my devices.

My end goal is to have my Iphone and my laptops in-game audio playing to my normal 3.5mm jack headphones.

If this setup won't work do any of you know of a setup that will allow this to function.

i would prefer not to use a typical gaming headset that can do this since its so bulky to carry my current headset and external sound card to make it work, and a optical cable and then it has about 3 miles of 5 different cables (well 12 feet but still) so a simpler 3.5mm combiner setup would be best.

Why doesn't Facebook notify me?

Notifications are on and everything, it's as if there's a glitch or something. Yesterday notifications worked but I got a buzz and notification with EVERY message my friend sent me from an ok to a yes which was pretty darn annoying feeling the buzz and hearing the ring, and now the blasted thing doesn't even want to notify me! Yesterday I only turned off the buzzing from messenger and clicked the mute button on my iPhone 5s and today I turned it on again but i'm not getting the buzz or ring, all i'm seeing is the preview of a message with no light up, nothing. This has never happened with any other iPhone i've used from the 3G to the 6 Plus I gave to my sister and it's annoying me to hell.

If i buy an iPhone from metro pcs will it be unlocked automatically?

I want to buy an iPhone SE and metro has the best price that I've been able to find. If I buy te phone from there, does it come unlocked and can I activate it on another service provider. I want to activate it on T-mobile prepaid as they have a deal I like more. Or does the phone come activated with metro pcs and I will need to pay months under metro to be able to unlock it.
