Facebook for iPhone App shows me Online and Available for Chat ALWAYS?

I have the current Facebook for iPhone 4 app.

I have already signed off of chat on the Facebook App. From my side on my phone facebook app it shows me offline and has a button to "Go Online"

I have been on my friends accounts and they always show me online and available to chat. My facebook friends all say it shows me online on my phone ready to chat.

Is it like this for everyone with an iPhone? Does it just show us always as online or available for chat? I'm thinking of just deleting it because this is getting really annoying

What company should I get my iPhone in?

Well I plan on getting the next iPhone unlocked because I hate contracts. I'm wondering if I should get the next iPhone in AT&T and Verizon because I plan on traveling internationally and to Utica and Albany New York and I do not know what company to choose because I'd like a reliable network (I'm doing the share plan with my dad. Or I would also like to try tmobile and I do not care about Internet. The only thing is that if the tmobile iPhone does not receive iOS updates. Please and thank you for your consideration!

My Verizon iPhone 4 will not restore? Stuck on Recovery Mode

My iPhone has been acting up in low coverage areas and would lose all signal and go into searching… The service would only come back after a restore. But now most recently i've restored it 4 times this week more than usual it use to be once a month. Now it is officially stuck in the recovery mode and every time i get out of it it comes right back to the recovery screen(itunes logo to cable picture)

jailbroken once when i got it like a year and a half ago but restored it because i dropped the backplate and apple had to fix it. I don't know if the jailbreak from a long time ago has anything to do with it?

also 2 months ago it was stuck in a reboot cycle.

I restored it 2 days ago and the service was there for a day but overnight it was searching for service and thats about it

My itunes says it hasn't updated een though I updated it?

I went to update my iphone and it said I had to update my itunes first and restart my computer (i have a macbook.) So I did all that and went to try and update my phone again and it still said I had to update my itunes first so I did it again and it is still not allowing me to update my iphone. It still says I need the latest version of itunes. What am I do wrong!
