Should I get my daughter an iphone?

My daughters 14 and the phone she had broke but the contract is still running, she said she would pay to end her contract and give her pocket money towards the iphones £33 a month bill should I?

Buy her the cheapest phone possible and see how she manages to look after it. Make her actually save her pocket money towards the Iphone and when she has £100/£200/£300 consider it.

I really think that its better if you buy another iphone because the contract is still running just make her learn the lesson and get her a lifeproof case, for an extra 10 dlls on the buy of the case you get the phone protected with insurance. If anything happens to the phone inside the case, the company will fix it or replacement it if its necessary.
