Should i let my Iphone battery drain to 0%?
My i phone battery last so much. If i charge at morning and check it at night the battery life is still
(90-79%) but is it also ok to let my iphone batter drain till o% some of my friend told me its good to do that.
On apples website it says to charge it fully the let it drain to zero the first use. Not all the time. It is not good for it. Look up how lithium ion batteries work.
Yes, Apple recommends to let your battery drain completely after charging to 100% to maintain your battery life, this is called a 'cycle charge'.
Letting your phone run down to 0% every once in a while is good. If you don't the battery might develop a "memory," as it were, and run down faster. I let my phone run down at least twice a month.
No thats not good for the battery. Thats only after first charge for a full cycle. Its just the opposite for longer battery life. Charge Iphone even when its just one fourth for a longer battery life.
No, you don't need to do that on iphones, I never do that and never have had an issue with battery.
- Why does my iPhone battery drain so quick? I took my phone off the charger at about 9:30am, it's now 10:01am and it was on 100%, I hardly used it, I only went on Facebook to check the newsfeed and reply to an inbox and now it's on 87%? I was watching it go down and it goes down 1% roughly every 2 minutes. It's been happening for about a week now and I'm lucky if my phone lasts me half a day. What can I do (WITHOUT BUYING A NEW PHONE)
- Why does my iPhone 5 drain battery even when I don't use it? My battery keep running out even when I don't use it. I tried to turn off location services and brightness and stuff but doesn't really help. What should I do?
- Battery on my iPhone 4S doesn't fully drain? My battery life is weird instead of draining all the way down to 1% it dies at around 12%? What can I do to change this? Or improve battery life overall?
- What should I do to solve battery drain issues on my iPhone 6? Should I calibrate my iPhone 6 battery or reboot to solve issues with battery drain? Certain apps like Snapchat really drain my battery and if my settings say that Snapchat takes 62% of my battery usage in background activity, does that I mean I should delete the app?
