Mail app I have on my iPhone takes up 250MB even though I do not have an email set up?
The mail app I have on my iPhone takes up 250MB even though I do not have an email set up?
Added (1). I was checking the usage on my phone, and one of the top one were mail. I do not have an email set up on my phone, but I used to but deleted everything off of my phone but it still takes up a lot of space. How do I fix it?
That's a glitch. You probably need to update your phone. I was on iOS 8.1.2, the camera and photos folder took 6GB worth of space. I updated it to 8.4, I checked usage, photos and camera were 2Gb, I haven't even deleted a picture, I just updated my iPhone.
THID ISN'T A QUESTION
- Why can I not use any sim card in my iPhone even though it is unlocked? I got an iPhone from a friend who says that the phone is unlocked, but every sim card I try in it seems not to work, it keeps on coming up with the same message that "There's no SIM card installed in the iPhone you are attempting to activate. Please disconnect and insert a SIM card in the iPhone." when have clearly put one in. What can I do?
- My iphone does not have a Wi-Fi symbol even though it is connected to Wi-Fi? I know it is connected to Wi-Fi because if i turn off cellular data it still goes on the internet, but the Wi-Fi "symbol" isn't there. Also, sometimes it says LTE or 4G when I know it's connected to Wi-Fi. Does anyone know why?
- Mail app on iPhone is taking up a lot of space even though it is empty? So recently I've been getting pop ups about my storage being low. I went to check and mail was taking up 5 GB! I went and cleared it out, physically through each folder and deleted everything. Nothing happened. I went and I disabled it and even while disabled it took up lots of space. I turned it off from iCloud too and still nothing. I even went on my account on the computer and deleted everything there yet still nothing. Right now it's at 6.4GB someone please help.
- Is there any way I can use my deceased father's iphone X even though I don't know his password or his e-mail password? My dad passed away recently. He had a fairly new iPhone X. I'd like to use it as my own phone but I don't know the passcode. I watched a video on how to restore the phone but I still can't use it because the phone is connected to an itunes account… And since i don't know his e-mail password, i can't reset it. I went to AT&T (where we were on a family plan) but they said they can't help me. Is his nearly new phone destined to be a paper weight?
