This virus thing came up on my iPhone 5 on Safari?
I was watching a show on safari, and then this virus thing came up.
That is nothing but a scam, just ignore it.
This is a common type of pop-up on mobile devices. There's normally nothing wrong with your device in any way and closing the tab or restarting the device will ensure that the pop-up goes away. If your phone is acting strange or the pop-up will not go away after closing or restarting then I would recommend reaching out to your local tech shop to have someone take a look at it. I hope this helps!

It is fake. Look at the URL!
All of these "you have a virus" websites are fake.
100% fake. It's just "scareware" to try to get you to download the app. App makers make money off of free apps too, so that's why they're trying to get you to download that B.S. App.
Just nothing more than a message. Nothing to worry about. Basically to scare you into getting/downloading whatever it is advertising. In most cases it is done so arbitrarily that it would mention you are running Android & to check the Play Store (their App Store) for whatever app.
- Some water came onto iphone, now speakers don't work? If i play music or want to get text tone i can't hear anything unless i use the headphones then it works. But by it self it does not work although i can record a voice memo and then hear it back. BUT why can I not hear music or hear the text tone?
- Is Corporatism a bad thing or a good thing? I think its a good thing because without it we wouldn't have the things we have today like Xbox 360 and Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and Android and IPhones and other things. Face it without Corporatism we wouldn't be where we're today all of our success and technology and medical breakthroughs has Corporatism to thank. Socialism could have never created the technologies and things we use today.
- If an iPhone somehow got a virus, what would stop that virus from spreading to the recovery image? If an iPhone got a virus, couldn't it just spread to the recovery image? I don't mean where you connect the iPhone to your computer and restore through iTunes. I mean the restore image that is actually on the iPhone.
- I have a iPhone and my safari froze when a pop up asked me to call this number to get rid of a virus so I don't know if I have a virus or no? So today I was looking for music online and this pop up came up and froze my browser and it asked me to call this number but I didn't and hit cancel and cleared my history and I restarted my phone cause it acted slow so I don't know if I have a virus or not
