Traveling with Airplane mode?
I'm going to the Philippines for vacation to visit family and friends in about 1 week. I live in Canada, but while you have airplane mode on, can you play the apps you currently have on your iPhone? My friend said you can't use airplane mode if your travelling very far, such as from Canada to Philippines, and can only use airplane mode if your travelling to a short distance such as Canada to Seattle. Just wondering if you can actually turn on airplane mode while flying internationally and if you can play game apps on your phone while you have airplane mode on.
You can travel from earth to moon with your iphone in airplane mode. Your cousin is making a fool out of you.
And any app will work as long as it doesn't require connection to the net.
It will run smooth, as it should.
- Will sleeping with my iPhone 5 in airplane mode harm me? I just got a brand new iPhone 5 3 days ago. Before I used to sleep with my Nokia x6 under my pillow in offline mode. Is airplane mode the same and will it damage me or harm me in any way even if its in airplane mode and under my pillow. I usually sleep with my phone under my pillow because I use it as an alarm and because I like to listen to soothing music before I sleep.
- Will I still be paying roaming charges if my iPhone is on airplane mode? I live in canada an my brother got a huge bill for roaming charges when he went to new York without even calling or texting. I'll be going to new York tomorrow and I would like to know if my phone will be roaming on airplane mode
