What do I do to get an iPhone?

I've been saving up for an iPhone 5C (don't even try to convince me against it, my mind is made up), but I'm not even sure where to begin. I know I want a green 5C at 32 GB, but what service should I get? Verizon or Sprint or what? Does it cost more to have a 32 GB vs.a 16 GB? What is 3G or 4G? How does the billing work for internet and phone usage? When would I get bills? When would I sign up for this. I know I'm going to go somewhere to buy it, but where, the Verizon store or Best Buy? What is the cheapest thing for me to do? What is data? What is a data plan? How can I use to much of it? What is iCloud? Can I use it to back stuff up or something?

I need help! I've never had a smart phone, only an iPad! Would really appreciate it!

Lets start with 3G vs 4G, these are data (internet) techs, 4G is faster than 3G, and 3G is faster than 2G.

No the memory/storage of your phone will not change your monthly fees.

A data plan, is for your internet usage, that is really another very long question & answer.

Verizon is the most expensive, followed by Sprint, then AT&T.

The price depends of how must "data" you use, so lets look at plans. You must be 18 to sign a 2 year contact, if so, then you get a huge discount on the phone, otherwise you must pay full retail price for your phone. So otherwise you must get a pre-paid phone plan, meaning you pay at the start of every month.

Most malls have one of every major mobile phone carrier, two of the cheapest are metro pcs ($40)or virgin mobile ($35), they have "unlimited" plans, other plans are cheaper but you could pay more if your run out of a set amount of data.

iCloud is apples version of the cloud, the cloud just means you store your "stuff" on some server somewhere on the net, in cyberspace. So you put some music in the cloud, then you free up memory on your phone, but your music is always available as long as you have a 3g/4g signal.

I'm sure once you read this like 5 or 6 times, you will have even more questions. Cheers.

The cheapest service I think you can get is probably Straight Talk, they are around $45 which seems to be by far the cheapest monthly plan. The service probably isn't as good as the big carriers like verizon, sprint, etc, but its the cheapest option.
As far as the best price on iphone, I would check Walmart, Target, and Radio Shack as they were all offering specials.

As far as which carrier it depends on which one of them has plans that fit within your budget and/or have proper service in your area.

No, what model you have only affects how much space you have to store what you want on it

3G & 4G is internet service from the carrier, with 4G being the faster of the 2 of course.

You choose how much access you want & use that within a month's time. If you go over there are fees for that as well.

Likely at the end of the month.

You could buy it either or. Doesn't matter.

No difference in where you go. Again, same thing.

Explained what data is already (3G, 4G)

Explained what a data plan is already as well

Explained that as well

iCloud is Apple cloud service, as in it saves data that then can be accessed by internet connection anywhere.

You could use it to access music, via iTunes Match, Documents via iWork for iCloud, stores pics via Photo Stream as well as backing up the iPhone in case of data loss.
