What happens if I back up my iPhone 4?
When I back up my iPhone i get more room in my phone? As in memory? And when I back it up does anything delete off my phone? Thank you! I'm new to this so I don't really know anything.
Backing up is a good thing, best to do on your originally used personal computer
backing up creates a copy of everything on your iphone and stores it on your computer incase you have to reset your iphone to original settings you don't loose your contacts, music.etc
you don't gain memory you make a copy (using memory on your computer if anything "very little tho")
nothing will be deleted from your iphone
if you lets say: go over to a friends house so they can give you music from their computer, the phone may ask you if you want to sync with the connected computer and erase all info then you will delete all your stuff, but this is a good reason to have a backup, because you can get all your info back from your original computer.
hint: set your iphone to back up automatically each time its connected to your home Wi-Fi, this will stop you fro having to back up each time you take pics/vids or add music.

My iPhone 5s keeps saying I don't have enough storage but I've deleted so much I have a total of only 3 apps I downloaded and 130 pictures. My apps keep force closing so I've decided I should just back up and restore my phone on iTunes but will my texts come back? I've deleted most of my texts too there's just some I want to still have
