What happens if i delete iCloud?

I have the iPhone 5 & I was just wondering if I delete my iCloud account, would I be able to use the "Find my iPhone" feature? And is there any way to restore my iCloud account?

I think you have to have iCloud to use Find my iPhone. And once you've deleted your account, you can probably get it back later, but I'm pretty sure anything that was in it would have been erased.

  • What happens when you delete iCloud? I don't use iCloud, and nothing is backed up on so it is essentially a blank account. So I was wondering what would happen if I delete the account on my iPhone through settings, will I gain more storage and will the "other" usage me minimized?
