What happens if I delete my iCloud?
I bought a iPod from my friend (since he just got a iPhone and didn't need it anymore) and he already bought some songs and movies from iTunes.
So if I delete hIs iCloud from my iPod and make one for myself would it erase all the music and movies?
Don't touch his iCloud, instead hook up your iPod to the computer and use iTunes to do a complete restore. This will wipe all data on the iPod and bring it back to factory settings or essentially what it would be if you just bought it brand new.
This will only affect the stuff on the device, anything backed up to his iCloud will be completely untouched. Then you can make your own account and start using that. Keep in mind though his music and videos are tied to his account so once you wipe it, you won't be able to redownload anything he's purchased and put it back onto your iPod. Music thiugh if you have it already saved on your computer then you can put it back on because it isn't technically tied to any account, just make sure you get it off the iPod first if you want to keep it.
- What happens when you delete iCloud? I don't use iCloud, and nothing is backed up on so it is essentially a blank account. So I was wondering what would happen if I delete the account on my iPhone through settings, will I gain more storage and will the "other" usage me minimized?
- What happens when I delete an iCloud account from my iPhone? Recently, I just found out that my dad and I shared the same iCloud account on my phone and I really want to have my own privacy so if I delete my iCloud account, would that also delete the photos, apps, etc that was already stored on iCloud from my phone?
- What happens to the data in my app when I delete it from iCloud? I have an app on my iphone 5 that I want to keep on my device and still play but it saves to iCloud. I know how to delete it from iCloud but will the app data just start saving on my device NOT iCloud? Will I still have All my data on my game?
- What happens if you buy a iPhone of eBay and it happens to be stolen? I typed in a serial number of an iPhone into apple checker and it said the phone has not been activated? The phone is still sealed in its box is the phone ok to buy?
