Data cable is used for transferring data which can also charge. And charging cable is for charging.

  • What's the difference between data and Wi-Fi in a contract? I'm planning to get an iPhone 4s, and it comes with 100MB data and 2BG of data. What's the difference? Is it like if I use all my data I have Wi-Fi to fall back on, or is it that data is when you're not connected to Wi-Fi! I'm so confused! Also is 100MB enough?
  • Regardimg charging iphone through laptop via USB cable? This is my issue. When I start my laptop (running Windows Vista), when I plug in my iPhone through USB, I can charge it and access it through iTunes as it should be but as soon as I unplug it, when I replug it the laptop doesn't recognize it and it won't charge at all. When I access device manager, I see a little triangle with an exclamation mark saying error code 10. Any idea how I can fix this issue?
  • New iPhone charging cable doesn't work? I just ordered a new iPhone 5. I got the phone and tried to charge it and the cable that was sent did nothing. I used my brother's cable and the phone began charging. The cable is also unresponsive when hooked up to my laptop. If I go to an AT&T store, will they replace this for me? Also, does anyone know how to make an iPhone 5 play on the iHome iP16? I bought an adapter and I was very sad to find out my new phone wouldn't play through the speakers!
  • My usb cable for iPhone seems to have problem with charging? My usb cable for iPhone seems to have problem with charging - either by charger or via usb port it does not work. But it is recognized by iTunes. Any ideas except of buying another one? No, there's no error message. There's even little lightning showed on battery icon, but it does not charge at all - tonight I put plugged it in with 33% of battery and when I came back it was totally dead…
