What would happen if an iphone is connected to a macbook?

Besides from having an access to your camera roll? Apparently mine is connected to my sister's macbook so she could see everything on my camera roll.

That means the phone and the Mac are sharing an AppleID and iCloud account.

That means using Find My iPhone, shoe can lock your iPhone make it make noise and wipe it… And find it if it is lost or stolen and see your location assuming you always carry your phone and the phone is on…

But other than that, not much.

Nothing "will happen".

  • What would happen to an old iphone when replaced? Ok so if I had a 4s, then decided to get a new phone, when I change sim cards, etc, what happens to the old 4s? Do I have to toss it out, or can I just use it as an ipod without call, text, and 4g?
