It's because of all the apps it has making it more useful
There are phones that perform some functions or have some abilities iphones don't have, however, as a complete package, iphones rally have their advantages. As all iphone apps are created with a similar structure, they all have commonalities that you don't find on phones using apps from a variety of sources. And the iphone interface is an elegant one, very user friendly and intuitive. My wife has an android and I have an iphone, when she has problem, it's really hard to sort, but I don't have any problems. I just upgraded from a 4 to 5 and I'm quite satisfied with it.
They're not.iPhones can't be customized at all and the only apps/programs you can get come from the AppStore. They only allow you to do what they want you to with iPhones. You can't even get flash on them. They're over priced as *** and they're only popular because people get them to show off and to be "cool". Other phones such as the Samsung galaxy have all the features of iPhones plus way more and it doesn't even cost $700
Why do you think that?
- Why isn't my iPhone letting me text other phones (non iPhones)? When my phone isn't paid I noticed I could still text like usual but only if IIm connected to the Wi-Fi, for some reason now all it says it message not deliverd when I text someone without an iPhone but when I text someone with one it sends automatically.
- Why is the iphone so much better than other smart phones? I'm not trying to start a fight here. It just seems like Apple has access to alien technology or something. I've been trying to help my dad with his Samsung stratosphere and the difference is staggering. Another thing worth noting is that any of my friends who have non iphone smart phones also carry their ipod touches around with them. That says something.
- Why are iphones stil so popular when there so many better phones out there? Ios is stale and boring its been almost exactly the same since the original iPhone. Even if you jailbreak it the features you get with jailbreak you can get with a non rooted android phone

My gramma just got an iPhone and has no idea how to use it and I have to teach her how but I have a smart phone and I kept on looking for buttons that aren't there and on smartphones it is simple to set your ringtone but I have no idea how to on an iPhone my gramma wants Eric church for her ringtone and I have no idea how to do that and she wants a new message tone too! Someone please help me
