Why do children and teens want iphones?
Why do they want all the latest apple products what are so good about them. My brother has an iphone 4s and my parents spend more for his phone then mine! And the thing that annoys me is he hardly uses it.i'm not jealous hes got an iphone because i prefer my galaxy s3 but he it is just him wasting my mum and dads money. He as begging my parent for one for Christmas asked my parents why they gave him one and they said its because his friends have one. I would understand if he was doing good in school or something but he isn't. Why do teens and young kids want iphones is it like pepsi and coke.galaxys being pepsi and iphone's being coke. Is it that pepsi i better than coke but everyone buys coke so people feel they need to buy one too. My brother needs to know that money doesn't come from the sky. He is 8 years old i was 11 when i got my first phone and it was a pay as you go flip up phone. Please may you give me answers parents and tell me if you child has or had an iphone and why they you gave them one. And if they don't have one why you haven't given them one. If you don't have children what do you think about kids aged 8 having an iphone!

Its just what's in nowadays… Iphone is a trend, and like all trends they eventually die out, and go away.
It's like how we wanted to look cool in our primary or elementary schools back when Gameboy was popular
Honestly I don't think children should necessarily have iphones maybe those little firefly phones that let you call home and an emergency number. Children can easily loose it or break. Children want it as a toy, the like how they can call home and still use it as a toy with all the apps on it. I think Teens should have it though since they are more responsible. Also they have more of a use for it.
An iphone at 8: o Wow your parents spoil your brother. That's crazy.
I don't mean to be rude, but technically you're both wasting your parents' money. They're just trends. Right now, Apple products are all the hype, especially iPhones. Your parents are the ones doing wrong buying an 8 year old an iPhone. It shouldn't even bother you though. You have a Galaxy S3 so there's really no reason to be jealous.

Because they are followers and want what their friends have and what's "cool" and "in" when there are much more reasonable and actually better options in the phone market. It's about social status and it's not just with kids and teens. I also don't think anyone under the age of 12 needs a cellphone, much less an iphone, unless it's one of those Firefly ones. I didn't get my first one until I was 14.
The Pepsi and Coke thing, though, is taste preference so it shouldn't be applied to this.
Because they thought it must be cool if they have iPhones. They never felt hardship like people in Africa, Middle East, India and some other places in the world.

- Why do teens make fun of me for not having an iPhone? I can afford an iPhone but i choose not to buy one because i'm very clumsy so i have a flip phone. Someone in class walked around asking for an iPhone charger to borrow and i said i don't have one and they said "oh yeah… That's because you don't have an iPhone" The tone in which that person said it really bothered me but i didn't say anything back. Does she think she's better than me because she has an iPhone?
- Why do so many teens buy iphones? I mean other phones can text and call friends and family exactly the same. Is it because of the games and apps, because if not then I think people are just wasting money to look 'Cool'.
- Why are some American teens so ungrateful? I don't know healthy young American teens seem so overprivileged to me. They worry about things like looking hot (even tho we all get old and ugly), their iphone battery and complain about school (even though they are lucky to be getting an education). Based on my calculations that kids are starving in third world countries and others plagued by horrible diseases, why aren't healthy American kids jumping for joy 24/7 instead if complaining about trivial issues?
- Teens! Why would you buy the iphone 6 plus? Like why teenagers buy it. like your going to look like a psychopath calling people and talking on it. and its going to be so hard to text in class with out getting caught… and your parents will be able to read your messages caz the screens so big they will be able to see your screen when your using it… the iphone 6 plus is alot bigger than the galaxy s5 dumb asssss
