Why does my brand new iPhone charger make noise?
It makes an electrical hissing noise. The charger is close to my bed and it woke me up. (It's 2 am where I live.) I haven't dropped it or anything. This has never happened with an iPhone charger before. It's brand new! );
Call your provider and unplug your charger. It sounds like it has an electrical issue or shortage in the wire of the cord and that could cause a fire. They will replace it for you if you are still under warranty.
It can be very danger and can lead to short circuit. Try to connect it in different electric ports in your home and if it still makes such noise buy a new iphone
