Why is my iPhone memory space taken up?
It is 8gb and I understand that I only get to use 6.4gb because of preset apps and what not, but for some reason my iPhone is saying I have 4.4gb in audio used though I only have 695 songs. I was told I should be able to have a little over 1000 songs and pictures with this iPhone and I'm quite confused. Does anyone have any idea of what could be the problem or am I misunderstanding something? Thanks for the help!
By the way… My iPhone has the latest software update, I barely have any apps (facebook, twitter, instagram), and I restored my phone (but with backup so I have my previous music, contacts, messages, calls). The phone is only a few months old and it is a white iPhone 4.
Music can take up a lot of space if all your songs have the picture of the album when they play, that can take up A LOT of space considering you have about 700 songs.
If that isn't that case then try going under settings then go to general then go to usage and see what is taking up a lot of space and try to delete it.

- Which ios is best for iphone 4, 8gb with a 2.1gb of memory free space? I have an iphone 4 8gb. Which ios is the best for my phone? Now i'm using ios 6. Sometimes it gets lagged when opening app such as line, path or instagram. Does the phone memory affect the performance too? Currently there's 2, 1 gb of free space in my phone. I don't put any musics in it. I only use my phone for communication and social media and gallery as well. Anyone know well about ios and iphone, your help is very appreciative.

- Possible to switch iphone 6 hard drive into iphone 6s harddrive? (for more memory space)? So I've broken my old iphone 6 which had way more storage than this new one, and I was wondering if I can change the hard drives or whatever holds the memory from phone to phone. I did buy an iPhone 6s so I'm not sure if the iphone 6 and 6s has different hardwares or whatever. But just curious.
