Will airplane mode on iPhone promise no overseas data charges?
I'm travelling overseas tomorrow. Is all i need to do is put on airplane mode and I'm safe from any charges?
also, if my phone dies while on airplane mode and i charge it back on will it still be on airplane mode?
If it's on airplane mode it's essentially an iPod - it doesn't connect to any data source (3G, Wi-Fi etc), so can't cost you anything.
It should stay on airplane mode even if the battery dies
