Will an iPhone 5s be a good first smart phone?

I looked at Android phone reviews and I like the iOS environment better. I just like the look and feel better. I have an iPod but now want to get a smartphone. I know this is ironic, but I'm a very techy guy and love everything tech. I just never really thought of getting a smartphone for whatever reason, and now it hit me like a ton of bricks, "WHY DO I NOT HAVE A SMARTPHONE?" Anyway, what is your opinion on the iPhone 5s? I'm getting it at the end of January(I wish it could be sooner, but there's contract complications:/). Have a good day!

If your into Apple just go for it… It does get good reviews

Dunno, from my experience, you have to jailbreak your iDevice to get the same experience you can get on an Android. No themes, no customization, no personalization. But if you like the feel of having all your music together and to be able to take pictures that are far better than any Android's capabilities, go for iPhone. Even if Android is better, I'll always stick with Apple.

Yeah, it is a very good smartphone and many other people love it because of so good user friendly freatures and interface. The only problem is it is too expensive

Yes! It'll defenitely be a good smartphone. I own one myself and I love it! IOS is really simple to use and really isn't that confusing at all. You'll get use to it probably the first day of using it! The 5s would be a great smartphone for you. Hope you enjoy it!

I say go with an Android. IPhones are for sheep. And they are overpriced.

I got 5S, glad I made that move.

  • I recently bought an AT&T apple iphone 3g 8gb smart phone off ebay? I have a AT&T prepaid phone. I put in my sim card into the phone i just got and all i get is emergency calls only. Is there a different card i need to get or what?
  • Good smart phones? Better than iPhone? I have the iPhone 5, and it isn't that old. It keeps goofing up and I'm just frustrated with it. I've had iPhones in the past and they always goof up in someway. Should I stick with my iPhone or should I switch? Suggestions please!
  • Good older iphone/smart phone model? I'm looking for a new phone, but I'm not sure what to get. I'm looking for an iphone or smart phone but I'm on a deffinate (up to about £70 or so) so I was thinking of buying one of the older models used. I want one that I can use for: going on the internet, reading manga and preferably snapchat, but otherwise I don't mind. Also, any tips for buying them second hand and what to look for when buying would be welcome.
