Will my iphone loose all it's music if plugged into a new computer?
My brother gave me his iphone, but i'm afraid to plug it into my computer because i did this with an ipod and all the stuff got erased. I really don't want to loose all his music. Is there a way to get around that?
Plug it in. As soon as it starts to Sync with iTunes, click the little X beside the progress bar at the top.
Then go to
(Device name) > Music > Uncheck 'Sync Music'
Should work. Believe me, since I jailbreak other peoples iDevices, this should work.
- Will I loose all my pictures and music? I'm getting an iPhone and was weary for the fact they do not have memory cards, if I break my phone will I loose everything like pictures and music, is there anyway for me to save the pictures and music somewhere else or not?
- Why won't my new iphone 5 download my music when plugged into my laptop? My old iphone 4 downloaded just fine. Normally I take the music I didn't buy from itunes and just "select all then drag and drop into my iphone folder thing on iTunes" and it would be added and it was easy for me to do this, is this now not working because I have IOS 7? - Why does my music still play from my iPhone when plugged into a dock? I have an iphone five and have purchased an adaptor cable. It comes up to say it's charging (plugged in) but when i play music it does not play thruogh the dock, instead through the normal speakers of the iphone, any help?
