Can I have an iPhone 3G from AT&T activated for Verizon?

No. The iPhone 3G is a GSM technology phone and Verizon's network is incompatible.

No, only because att uses sim cards, just like t-mobile. SIM cards are that miniature credit card-lookin things that go into the back of phones. Verizon uses EIN (Electronic Identification Numbers) on the back of a phone instead of a SIM card. You could unlock that phone for t-mobile, but not verizon. Why verizon? They will take you for every dime you have for not much better service. Unless you live in a really rural area out in the sticks, then sometimes they are ok.

  • How do I get my Verizon cell phone to work with my activated US Cellular sim card? I have an iPhone 5s that has a US Cellular SIM card that's activated. I took the card out of my iPhone and inserted it into my Verizon Droid 4 that is Unlocked. The Droid 4 connects to the network because I have 5 bars and a 3G icon in the status bar. The problem is, I can't call or text. It won't connect to the person I'm calling. Can someone please explain to me how to fix this?
