How long will it take for a package to travel from new york to England/UK?
I ordered my iphone around two weeks ago from ebay and it has just been processed through a sorting facility in New York and according to the USPS website it is in transit, does anyone know how long it will take to reach me?
Hard to say without knowing what shipping method was paid for. At this time of year, surface mail going across the Atlantic can take weeks.
It will normally run a couple of weeks. You can easily add another week or so during the holiday season.
Its probably with UK customs, you have to pay VAT and customs charges on all goods over £15 ordered from non EU countries, customs can take 3 weeks or so to process personal imports.
- Will I need an electrical/power adapter to travel to England? (I live in Canada)? I'm traveling to England next summer to visit some family for a month and I was wanting to bring my laptop and phone along with me. I have a Sony Vaio and iPhone 4 (I don't know if that makes a difference at all). If I need to get one, what type do I buy and where can I purchase one? Preferably not online.
- What sim to use in USA and what travel money card to take? Anyone know: 1. A cheap mobile sun card that would fit in iPhone 4 that an Aussie could use in the states for a few weeks? 2. Best/ cheapest money/ travellers card to take?
- USPS lost my package from eBay and the seller refunded me, should I still file a missing package claim? I had ordered the iPhone 7 for my birthday last week and I never received my package. I went through a whole ordeal with USPS (who was no help at all). Eventually the eBay seller was happy to issue me a full refund but I'm wondering if it's worth my time to file a missing package claim.
- How to travel to another country, with a travel size Wi-Fi router? So I have Sprint, an iPhone 6 to be specific. I'm going to Mexico for 3 weeks, is there any way I can buy a Wi-Fi router which I can carry with me at all time and only use Wi-Fi, and have my iPhone on airplane mode.
