I have been scammed on gumtree
I'm really upset, i put an ad up on gumtree saying i want to swap something for an iphone, a guy from scotland replied and said he had a "iphone 5" to swap so i offed him a really good tablet and beats by dre he accepted the offer and said he will send the item i sent him my items but i have not yet received mine its been and week since i should of got it, iv tried to contact him but hes not answering, please help me, and i have tried website but they only store the con not solve it
How can you be so stoopid -.- never swap! And always ask for the sender to show he or she really has it and always do with track and trace number
You can file a police report but nothing is going to happen
This is why Gumtree warns user to ONLY deal with face to face transactions or you are always going to get scammed
- Think iv been scammed what do I do? Ok I bought an iphone from gumtree and I paid through PayPal, they sent me a different phone a really cheap one so if I claim in PayPal they still have proof if postage so is there anything I can do?
- Think I've been scammed on ebay? I ordered an iPhone 5s of eBay. The seller had 98 feedback 100% positive and its been 10 days and i have still not received it? The shipping does say economy 7-10 days but surely no uk to uk shipping will take that long? Its my third one I've bought due to scammers and still haven't got a phone.
