If I buy an iphone in USA will it work in Ireland?

Iphones in ireland are very expensive, so i was wondering since the dollar is worth more than euros, if i bought a no-plan iphone is the USA would it work in ireland? Like would i have to get it unlocked and stuff… If so is that gauranteed to work?

Yes You need to Unlock I-phone from network lock, to use with Ireland GSM network.
