Laptop is connected to internet but it says it isn't?

I have a HP laptop running windows 8 & it lets me surf the web and other things but when I try to connect to EA origin it says that I'm not connected to the internet & it also won't let me connect to the Microsoft store
It has all the updates
& I know my internet is working well because my tv, iphone, desktop, & iPod is connected to it with no problems
I have Belkin Wi-Fi

So why will it not let me connect to the Microsoft store & EA origin?

To me this could be your Antivirus causing this problem disable and then see if it works. If not then Google my name or click on my name for more help thanks ian.

Hi, The Problem is - i set up a wireless network today for my Iphone 5 and my blackberry, from my main desktop at home, and all went well and Both are connected to it, as well as my laptop. But now whenever i try using the internet on these devices ( iphone etc ) it does not work, although the main desktops internet is working… Can anyone help me? I'm using WINDOWS 7.

I have a 2016 MacBook and it was recently stolen, I was wondering if it was possible to track it even if the "thief" wasn't connected to the internet. Plus I don't have any extra anti theft things installed. But it is installed on my cloud so I think I should be able to view it on my iPhone…
  • No internet on laptop even though it says connected? Internets always worked fine but now nothing. I've tried wireless and cable on my home internet, i've tried using my iphones hotspot and it always says connected but nothing works. Its definitely not my internet as everything else connected works. And i can still ping websites in command prompt but thats it. Can anyone help? Really not keen on buying a new laptop…
  • My laptop says the Wi-Fi connection is connected to the internet, but has no access? I'm using a Windows 7 laptop and I can't connect to the internet, while my iPhone and mom's laptop has internet access.
