Sort of a weird question but my phone has a weird problem where if it goes to sleep it shuts off completely and i have to restore it every time. So basically how long will it last if i leave it on all the time?

I had my iPhone3GS connected to a car charger, and it fell into the cooler full of water without me noticing. It could have been in there for at least 5-15min. I got home and put the phone into a bowl of rice. It had been flickering with light, but now there's no light): it won't turn on and I don't think the rice is helping. I don't have a license so I can't go get alcohol to put it in): please give me other ideas): thank you)
I have a Motorola Social that is on a Telus Prepaid Pay n Talk plan. I want to put that phones SIM card into my sisters old iPhone that was previously on a contract from Telus but is now cancelled and has no SIM card in it. If I put my current phones SIM card in the iPhone, will I still get my current plan on the iPhone? Both are on the same phone providers and all that.
I've heard what to do and no computer will recognize that the iPhone is plugged in.

I'm on iOS 5.0.1 iPhone 4 and I was wondering if I can update to the new 5.1 without having to jailbreak it again. And if I do update it, will it update correctly? Will anything happen like go into recovery mode or something.
I just dropped my phone in water about a minute ago(it's 9:25 PST). I hurried up and got it out dried it off as fast as I could. It was working fine until now. It keeps popping up "charging not supported on this device" and also I just found out the sound isn't working! Now I can't even listen to all the money I spent on my songs. Is there anything to help this? I was thinking I can back it up on iTunes? Would that help? I don't know I just need major help please.
Hey guys please help me out. So I just went down to my Grandparents house, and am having no trouble connecting to their network. It says I have full bars, but every few minutes the internet stops working. It shows that I'm still connected, but I can't load anything. Nothing out of the usual pops up. The Tobisha laptop that I'm using has never had this problem before. Range is not an issue because I'm in the same room as the router. It is secured so no one else is connected to it besides the desktop and a iphone. However, those devices are not experiencing this issue. Disconnecting and reconnecting helps this problem for a few minutes.
