Is it worth it to get an iPhone 5s now?

I've never used an apple phone but I do have an iPad mini.
Something that has always stopped me is how temperamental their products are and how easily they break/damage.
The 5s is cheaper cause it's older but mostly it is the best size.
IIm a small girl and I don't want to be unable to text with one hand, and I don't want it bulging out of my pocket either.

Will I be missing out too much on updated os/apps/emojis/resolution/camera quality for it to be worth it?

AT&T iPhone 5C Service Issue?

So I have an iPhone 5C carried by AT&T and Monday I ran into an issue. My service just dropped abruptly and suddenly out of nowhere. And it's now Friday night and the service just comes and goes. I can sometimes by myself a little bit of service time usually 10-20 minutes max. And then it just drops. And the weird thing is when the service drops, FaceTime doesn't work even with Wi-Fi which confuses me. Someone please give me an answer to this please

DIY Solution for stabilizing iPhone footage?

I'll be shooting a film with my friends, but I extremely dread that the camera will shake in someone's hands. Is there any trick so that I don't need to buy a tripod or stabilizer? (Not talking about video stabilizing apps either, a physical way to stabilize iphone.)
