How to set up iPhone without sim card?

Last night I had to erase my iPhone and reset it due to a system error. When it came back on, it said I needed a sim card in order to use it. Is there any other way to get oass the SIM activation stage? My dad has a sim card I could use and I've already asked him but he said he doesn't want his iPhone broken. He has an iPhone 5s from Verizon.

Is 128 GB Mac enough storage for me or will I likely run out?

I'm looking at a Mac Pro and i see for 1,200 at Best Buy you can get the 128 GB pro. Essentially, this will be my school laptop for the rest of high school and possibly the beginning of college. All pictures/videos will be on my iPad or iPhone so that won't take any storage. Same case with games, they won't be on it. Essentially, all ill have it for is writing papers, surfing the web, etc. Is 128 GB enough for me or should I spend the extra 200 for 256GB?

How to restore an iPhone 6 to before you backed it up with another backup?

Please please please I know I probably can't possibly do it anymore but ok I'm going to calmly explain

My mom asked me to upload some pictures to the computer because she was running low on space and since she doesn't have much technology education she asked me and I hooked her iPhone 6 into the computer and there was this thing when I opened iTunes like (I know it was my fault for not reading everything but) it asked if I wanted to update and I guess I didn't read something and updated it and apparently it wasn't an update it was just backing up the stuff from my mom's old iPhone 4 because that was the last time we'd ever backed up anything and that was like a year ago and we'd never backed up the iPhone 6 and so my mom's iPhone 6 now has all the data from the old iPhone 4 and all of the data she had from her phone is not there anymore and it contained a lot of photos from the last couple of years and I know I probably messed up and I can't do anything.

What is a good camera for amateurs?

I love taking pictures and want to invest in it a bit. Right now I use my phone, iPhone 6+ s, and I want something that will get me better quality photos. I'm a pretty fast learner but I don't want to bite off more than I can chew for my first camera.

New iPhone synced in iTunes and now looks like old phone?

I got a new iPhone and plugged it into my computer, then clicked sync. After I clicked sync I looked at my phone and all new photos were gone and the old photos were put on. The background changed color and all my old apps went on the new phone, making my phone look exactly like my old one.
How do I get my phone back to normal with the apps, background, and photos?
How do I make it so this phone is independent of the other one on iTunes?

Upgrade to the note 4 from note 3?

So i'm debating on upgrading on upgrading from my note 3 to the note 4? What's it like? Is it a good phone? Or should i make the iphone move to the 5s that i have been shoving to the side ever since my first contract phone in grade 10. I like my note 3 screen size. All my phones in the last 5 or 6 years have been 4.6 inches or 5.7 inches. So the downsizing to 4 inches sort of puts me off. I really don't like the idea of a smaller screen. The thing i'm put off on making the upgrade to the note 4 is the pre installed apps. My note 3 has around 60 pre installed apps that you can't uninstall and it annoys me that i have all that space i can't use. There's things i hate and love about both phones, i really can't make a decision on my upgrade though. And i need something with a good battery life and i know the note series provides that (i can get 2 days out of my note 3 sometimes since i don't have any gaming apps or anything).
