Will synching my iphone 4 with iTunes delete all my apps?

My friend have me his old iphone 4 and it is currently not connected to any service I'm just using it as an iPod touch sort of. It has my friends old music and apps on it. I want to put my music I it but iTunes asks if I want to start it as a new iphone. I don't know because I definitely don't want to delete all my pics and apps

How to send a TEXT message to someone without turning iMessage off?

Hi, I'm getting a little annoyed and was wondering if there was a way to send a message as a text message to another iPhone user without turning iMessage off. I'm getting confused because my friend has an iPhone like me but her iMessage is turned off and mine is turned on so when I text her it sends as an iMessage so she doesn't get it… Is there a way to fix this? Without having her turn on iMessage or me turning off iMessage?

My iphone was stolen and despite knowing the person, hasn't been caught?

I really can't understand this. I knew the girl through a friend who used to be friends with her. She doesn't remember me though. Despite telling the cops her name on facebook and doing All the detective work myself aswell as pressing charges for the assault, nothings been done. Literally, her profile pic is my stolen iphone 5. Is there ANYTHING I can do? I'm desperate. Can't do much though, I'm 14 and a female, and she's 16 and had 2 people back her up. Sigh.

Added (1). Nope. Had just gotten the phone two days before. Didn't expect to get mugged so fast, especially with so many witnesses. It's been charged in my laptop though, but I did not have Itunes at the time.

Added (2). Stealing it back wouldn't really be an option. I have no clue where to look for her. She is pretty skilled though, she somehow managed to use my phones service even after it was put to a stop. The phone is still turned off as messages sent a few minutes after the robbery didn't go through. It's an iphone 5, so I wouldn't be able to get a phone as good for a LONG time. As for contacting my service provider. Mine is Telus and they hadn't done anything besides prevent it from getting any service.

Can I get apps on my iPhone Original (2G)?

I know I can get apps, but can I get apps like angry birds? On my iPod touch 4, I can get older versions of apps (before ios 7). But can I get older versions of apps that support ios 3 on the iphone 2G?

My iphone screen is going crazy after I had it fixed?

I shattered my iphone screen a week ago and had it fixed at a local shop (not an apple store) and it was repaired the same day. I noticed that evening that there where five or six thin white lines running down the screen diagonally, but I ignored it because you could only see them if the screen was at full brightness and there were dark colours (like in the compass app). But last night there were horizontal lines of colour all over my screen (mostly pink) and they were messing with my display, they're worst on bright/white backgrounds and they were sort of in swirls and kind of pixelated? It's hard to describe. That came and went until tonight, when it got so bad that it was everywhere and my phone started going crazy, like my display faded into horizontal lines and shook but went to black and the screen was unusable, so I turned off the screen with the power button. Five minutes later I turned the screen back on and it was just the colours again (but still really bad). The screen is still responsive, I can still tap away until the next time it freaks out. I haven't had it near water or dropped it since the repair. The repair was actually the first time anything's ever happened to my phone. Do I just need the screen replaced again or is it a software issue? I clearly don't know what I'm doing here, so a simple explanation would be great. Also how much would it cost to be fixed? My contract is finished in November so should I just wait and get a new phone?
