Wi-Fi connects but internet doesn't work?

I'm staying at a hotel this week. There's free Wi-Fi. My friend's phone and laptop are connected and working, as are my sister's. However, both my iPhone and my iPod are "connected" to the network, but the internet doesn't actually work. It's very stressful. What do I do.

Which app(s) takes the most space?

I'm trying to figure out which app on my iPhone takes up the most space because I'm trying to clear up some space. I have social networking apps such as facebook, twitter, soundcloud, instagram, vine, skype, snapchat, fb messenger and a dating app lolI also have games such as 2048, fruit ninja and kingdom rush. Other apps I have are ultimate guitar, google translate, picture editing apps and a menstral cycle app lol tmi. I erased emails I didn't need anymore as well as some pictures. What can I get rid of to clear up space?

The things that take up the same space are the documents & data and the apps.

IPhone 4 won't play sound when charging?

The sound works just fine when it's not plugged in. I can play music, videos, i get text and call alerts etc. But none of this works when my phone is charging. Any advice/solutions?

Charging an iPhone 5s in Italy?

I'm going to Italy and plan on bringing my iPhone 5s. I did some research on this topic already, but I just wanted a little reassurance. Is it correct that I do not need a converter to charge my iphone, only an adapter? Also, what happens if I charge my iphone using the converter as well as the adapter? My iphone charger says 100-240V or 50/60Hz.
