My iPhone 5 won't delete messages?

I have 4.6 gb of "saved text messages" on my iPhone 5. Obviously I don't want that, but whenever I delete my texts my messages app freezes and I have to do a soft reset to turn it back on. Wiping my phone and starting completely over is NOT an option, and restoring my phone from my computer/iCloud keeps those texts.
Has anybody had this problem? I've dealt with it for over a year.

How does RadioShack work with mobile carriers?

The other day I went into Sprint to get an iPhone 5s for $200 (with a 2 year contract) and the clerk told me "If I were you I'd buy this phone at RadioShack, they're only $79" so I did and sure enough I left that same day with an activated new iPhone 5s. (RadioShack printed the 2-year out and I signed it there). This had me wondering though, why would Sprint allow RadioShack to sell phones to Sprint customers when RadioShack a lot of times has better prices? They're basically giving RadioShack permission to take away their sales? Obviously there's more to the story that I just am not picking up on. Can anyone shed some light on to why this is?

Activate iphone 4s bought from ebay?

I recently bought an iphone 4s on ebay and when I went to use it it said I needed the previous owners apple id. I contacted the seller asking him if he could take the phone off his account but he just told me that he bought the phone from someone else and has no way of getting in touch with the original seller. How can I make the phone usable? If I take it to the apple store will they fix it for me? If they won't fix it for is there anything I can do, maybe something in the phone I can change? There has to something I can do.

How to charge an (Anker) external battery faster?

I'm experimenting with different usb adapters to charge my Anker external battery. The max input for the battery is 5V/2A. I have an iphone usb adapter that has an output of 5V/1A - this charges my battery much slower than a 5V/2A adapter. I want to know if I can use a usb adapter that has an output of 5V/3A without destroying my battery. Would the battery convert the power down to 2A automatically?

The reason why I ask this is because I want to buy these batteries as gifts. They do not come with a usb adapter so I would liek to find one that will work with the battery and NOT take an entire night to charge up.

Is there a way you can connect your PS3 controller to iphone with out jailbreaking? Cheers?

Is there a way you can connect your PS3 controller to iphone with out jailbreaking?
Cause I want to play a few games on me iphone with a ps3 controller.
I know there's a way but this method, you to jailbreak your phone. The main reason why I can't use this method is because I recent I updated my software to ios 7.1.1. And If anyone knows a way to connect a ps3 controller without actually jailbreaking your iphone or know how to jailbreak using ios 7.1.1. Let me know, or let me know if it's possible or not.
Cheers.
