Iphone 5s only charges when dead?

K so my phone went completely dead because when i plugged in my phone, it wasn't charging. But when its dead, ill plug it up and it will charge until it turns on (it turns on automatically at like 3%) but then it won't charge anymore. Why? Its annoying. I don't want it to ruin my battery.

Will Apple Retail stores repair IPhones that won't charge?

Yes I did ask this question before but i left out something very important. My IPhone isn't with a company. A friend gave it to me as a present and my parents haven't really argreed to turn it on yet. I don't have a warranty on my phone. Is it possible that they might still fix it? I've basically been using it as an IPod or something.

Can i use an at&t iphone on Metro Pcs?

I'm thinking about buying an At&t Iphone 4s from Amazon and I just wanted to ask how i would be able to get it to work with Metro. I don't really want to buy one unlocked already they are just TOO expensive. Do I just take it there or do I have to unlock it myself and then take it there? Does it even have to be unlocked because they released a statement saying that At&t Iphones can work on their network. If anyone has done this please let me know what any pros and cons you have experienced.

Why is apple so unhelpful when it comes to activation lock?

I bought an iphone second hand and the owner removed their information from the cellphone, I signed in on my icloud… Connected everything and that was that. However when i updated the phone to 7.1.1 my phone was now asking for the activation lock. I explained to apple the situation and even had photos in my photostream to prove the phone was connected to my icloud. Why won't apple help me when i have proof? The previous owner obviously had to be the one to sign themself out because they made the removal of their account possible only by having them have to enter their password. Why won't they help me?

My iPhone keeps turning itself on and off?

I have an iPhone 4s, and I got it about a year ago for my birthday. Just today as I was on it, it shut itself off. I thought I accidently pressed something, so I let it be. I waited for it to turn back on and when it did, I was able to be on it only for a couple seconds before it shut off again. After it shut off it would come back on, but it would do the same thing over and over again. I even noticed when it went to shut off there would be a whole bunch of lines as well. It's been a couple hours later and now it doesn't even let me be on it for a couple seconds anymore. It just stays on a black screen with the apple sign until the lines come and it shuts off and repeats. The reason I'm resorting here for help is because I've tried to contact apple support but for my problem I need to enter a serial number which is in my phone and I'm not able to get on my phone. I even plugged it into my laptop in hopes of resetting it but I guess from it keeping on turning on and off it won't recognize it at all. I'm being told by people that it might have burned out, or I need a new battery but I'm not sure whatsoever. Could anyone help or give me an idea on what to do?
