Turn off iPhone 5s completely when abroad?

I'm going to Argentina for 3 weeks and I'm taking my iPhone 5s but I plan on turning it completely off. I've read so many horror stories about charges on your bill. I initially planned on turning the roaming off or whatever, but I'm not sure how all that works, so if I turn it off completely will everything be okay? Or do I have to do anything else like remove the sim card.

IPhone 4s switches itself off and on! Advice?

Hallo folks. My iPhone 4s switches itself off and on. It takes seconds for it switch itself on again. I've tried to read so many threads. Told it might be the LCD or the charging port. I begun changing the charging port. No solution! Today I changed the LCD. No solution again. What could be the problem? What shall I do next? I even reset it to the factory setting. Still no solution. Any advice will be well appreciated.

New isp. All devices connecting to Wi-Fi except laptop?

Brighthouse techs are stumped. I have a toshiba satellite p855-s5200 running windows 7 64-bit.
After switching from verizon to brighthouse this computer will not connect to the internet.
The laptop says that it has perfect connection strength. When switching to a wired connection, it doesn't acknowledge the change.
after resetting the router the internet will work breifly (less than 2 minutes).
I have an iphone and 4 android devices connected and working flawlessly. Brighthouse guy had his laptop connected with no issues.
the router is set as "tkip/aes"
Could verizon have anything to do with this? Any thoughts/ advice would be greatly appreciated.
