IPhone 3G error 1015 after 4.1 restored?

Some kind of an error occurred while I was updating my iPhone 3G to 4.2.1. So it asked me to restore my iPhone. And I did it. But I can't restore it either via iTunes because it says "Error 1050".

Whenever I connect my iPhone to my computer it says my iPhone is in recovery mode and ask to restore it. I tried to restore it several times but it won't work. Now I can't switch on my iPhone.

What should I do?

IPhone BARELY got wet, turned off by itself?

Please Help. I know there's not much you all can do but share your similar experiences and what you did to fix it. Okay, so I was going to the bathroom and I put my iPhone on the sink, when I was done I turned the water on so it'll get hot, as I was about to wash my hands, I accidentally hit my iPhone into the sink! There was little water in the sink but the faucet was on. Still, I quickly got it out of there, it was probably in there for half a second. So I dried it off with one swipe of a towel( there was that little water on it. Once it was dried, I hit my home button and everything was working as it should. Since there was barely any water on it I figured it was fine. So about an hour later I went to get on twitter and the screen just starts flickering and then turns off completely. I tried to turn it back on but I wouldn't. So immediately I put it in a ziplock full if rice… Is there ANYTHING you guys suggest I should do? Has this happened to you, what'd you do?

And I tried rebooting my iPhone and turn it off and on and delete app and get it back so many ways for 2 days e.e why does this happen?

Are the days of mobile carriers coming to an end?

Just my opinion but I thought i'd get some insight. Here's the scoop, I work for MTS in Manitoba and I was thinking how much longer until mobile carriers get squeezed out of the equation? Why do I think this? Read on (I won't be long winded). So what most people don't know is that you can download a free app on an android or iphone called (textme), basically what it does is enable you to make unlimited texts internationally and is courteous enough to provide you with a local provincial area code phone number and the option to make phone calls over VOIP so long as you're connected to the internet. I've tested it, and it works perfectly! This is not an ad for the app, but does make me think if texting and calling is available right now for free via VOIP, and summarily Wi-Fi will be available everywhere for free (likely 5-7 years) why do people need carriers? Yes, I know they subsidize phones, but soon I believe manufacturers will provide this courtesy to their customers. You can already buy a high end Google handset off their website for 200 bucks.

Can you buy an AT&T iPhone 5s off of eBay and use it with Verizon?

I know the iPhone 5s can be used on any of the main North American carriers but I know each carrier has their own locks and stuff. If I bought an AT&T iPhone 5s off of eBay would I be able to just put in my current Verizon iPhone 5's SIM card into it and it would work? Or are there steps I have to do first? I know it's possible, I just need to know the steps in order to do it.
