Why do people put up with all the iPhone hype?

My only issues with today's smartphones is one of independence. Independence in that if you pay over $400 for a cell phone, it should last an entire real world 16hr day. To add, you should not have to turn off phone functions if you plan on using them. I was astounded when I saw this Apple blog about how you can add battery hours to your iPhone if you turn off just about everything that makes it a modern phone. What a joke!
Having said that, my brain memory is that of a grape. I recently purchased a no battery access HTC but forgot to charge it on two different occasions and I was scr ewed. I had to lie to everyone that I left my phone at home. Plus, it's my business line. NOT GOOD! And no, I can't remote charge in my line of work.
So I have a T-Mobile acct. But the Samsung S4 is too big and the new Blackberry's Q10 has issues. Anyone know if any good cellphones that will work with T-Mobile that have access to its battery?

Transfer iOS 7 apps to iOS 5?

I'm wondering if I can move Stardom: Hollywood from the iPad 2 to iPad/iPhone 4 and save the progress. I spent a fair bit of money into it and I don't want to lose it.

Limitations on iphone-connected key locators? - 1

Ok so I know you can put locator tags on keys and the like and have it hooked up so it sends the location to your iphone. Question is would there be a limit to how far away you can be before the technology is useless? And if so, what might be the furthest the iphone can be from the locator tags while still being able to find it?

IPhone messages after you've deleted them?

Okay so me and my mom share an iTunes account, or I think so. Anyways she always tells me she will check my texts on the computer whenever she wants too, But she always says "don't delete your texts" and i mean there's nothing inappropriate on my phone but really sad and emotional paragraph sent to friends that she would think are "attention seeking" texts, so yeah I just DON'T want her reading my texts, if I delete my texts on my phone does that mean she can't read them, or what? Or does it automatically save to iTunes? How can she see my texts and how do I get rid of them or can I get rid of them so she can't see?

Problems accessing mobile internet while roaming?

I have an Iphone 4 and subscribe to Aircel 3G plan. I'm from Chennai.

I was in Bangalore this month. If my roaming carrier is selected to any other carrier other than Aircel, my phone was not connecting to Internet. I was able to make / receive calls, send SMS even when I was connected through other carriers. Where there were poor Aircel signals, if the phone chose Airtel or Vodafone, etc. I got a message that I'm "Not subscribed to Data Plans." However, when I chose Aircel manually and connected, I was able to access Internet.

From Bangalore, I went to Thiruvananthapuram. In Kerala, I faced the same issue. In fact in Thiruvananthapuram and in Poovar, I could not get Aircel at all. I could not access Internet from any other carrier. When we drove to Kanyakumari from Poovar, the instant we entered Tamil Nadu, my phone connected to the Internet and once we were back into Kerala, it stopped connecting to the Internet.

My Data Roaming is on.

I Reset my Network Settings also.

I'm afraid Aircel Customer Care is not helpful.

Has anyone faced similar issues and managed to resolve it.

Any help will be appreciated.
