I wanted to buy a iPhone 5S.
Do you think I should buy a DSLR instead of iPhone 5S or choosing an iPhone is a better choice.
Please don't tell it is my choice.

I have an iPhone 5C, and I hate it I want an iPhone 5 because a lot of people say it's better than an iPhone 4S (and don't tell me get a 5S I don't want a 5S) and I have an iPhone 5C on contract, could I unlock the SIM, get an iPhone 5 and put the SIM in to carry on the contract?
I have a white iPhone 5c that I got for christmas, and just a couple days ago I noticed white lines and squares in the screen but it was only on dark screens when you could see them, shortly after that, my screen would randomly freeze for a few seconds. I've dropped my phone once and it was Way before this started happening. Would Apple replace it? And would they trade it for a diffrent color? Like the pink one? I have an appointment tomorrow with them.
All the iPhone 4s background that you can get on the internet don't seem to align properly with my home screen. All the pictures are 640x960 but when they have bases of where the icons go, etc, they're a few millimeters too low below where they actual icons are.
For example, I used this picture;
and when I used it as a background, not resizing it or anything, it comes up like this;
I have reduce motion on so it's not that, but they all seem to go below the place they're supposed to. Why is this?

They're really important. I accidently clicked on the screen twice while I was typing and they disappeared! I don't have icloud or iTunes. I'm not techno savvy at all, so please simple instructions.

I'm at a crossroads on what to do with my 'stuff'.
I own a 2008 17" macbook pro laptop that needs to be fixed. Genius bar prices a refurbish of the item at $350 since it is not yet a legacy item. I have done this in the past so I trust that I will get at least anoterh 4-5 years out of the device.
I also own an operational 2009 24" iMac desktop. The only not working is the cd rom ( an external is $79)
I just got for the holidays a Wi-Fi iPad mini valued at $500 along with th slim case another $50.
I don't use an iphone. I do graphic design sometimes and photography but strictly as a hobby or donation.
I assume i can return the mini to an apple store for credit. I'm not sure if the credit can be applied to svs (ie: pay them with the credit to fix my laptop).
Question: Get the store credit and buy a new laptop outright ($1200-1800 purchase btw)
or
fix my laptop and sell the desktop on ebay and use the apple credit for a larger ipad
or
sell my laptop broken on ebay, get the bigger ipad.
Why is this hard to decide? Well, I also own a kindle which is Wi-Fi enabled so keeping the mini is like haveing the same device twice. AND, i like my kindle i love Amazon Prime. Its way cheaper than itunes store for sure!

I accidentally deleted all my songs in my finders and now i can't locate my music in my iTunes. Can i somehow retrieve the music by syncing my iPhone to my mac? I really don't want to download the songs again cause i have a lot of songs.
