I was restoring my iPhone when suddenly my laptop flashes up a blue screen of death for about 3 seconds before resetting. It's now back on, and everything seems to still be the way it was. It only happened a few minutes ago but I haven't found anything missing or seriously wrong…
What I was doing in the run up to this happening:
- restoring my iPhone, for the most part when I was running on the laptop's battery. Battery got very low so I took it back upstairs and plugged it back in.
- Still surfing the internet, though I noticed it starting to slow down - could it be I was overexerting it?
My laptop is an Asus A53 with an i7 processor on windows 7; my phone is an iPhone 4
When it turned back on, I got a message saying windows had recovered from an unexpected shutdown with a list of details. Here are a few
- Problem event name: BlueScreen
- Locale ID: 2057
- Files that describe the problem: Minidump/010514-69966-01.dmp
Temp/WER-121727-0.sysdata.xml
Any help would be appreciated, what is this problem, what causes it and how serious is it likely to be?
