What do I do if my Sims Freeplay quest just stops?

I have the Sims Freeplay app on my iPhone and I was doing the Christmas quest where you can get a pet reindeer and as I completed goals, I'd get new ones. But then I just stopped getting goals and Santa disappeared and I don't got a reindeer yet. I haven't even found the third elf! I can still go to the workshop and the two elves I already found are there but I can't do anything with them and Santa isn't there or in my Sims' homes anymore. I only have seven days to complete the rest! How do I get the goals to resume?!

Added (1). I did seven days worth of goals in a few hours (I knew I was behind so I used LP to skip the ones that would take four hours or whatever because i never use LP and had it stored up) so I wasn't sure why I wasn't getting any more goals when I wasn't made to wait for the next day's goal before. I got the nutcracker - I finished that day. I just haven't gotten the goal to "Admire Nutcracker" yet.

Okay last year my family played a mean prank on me:/ lol it's quite embarrassing and got it on camera. This year I'm giving them 'gifts' that they don't like or is weird to be given as a present xD
I have toothpaste, an old pencil, some shoe box with wrapper inside(no shoes) and I want to prank my younger sis about giving her a iphone. She's a bit young and not mature about having one. But I can't wait to see her face and my older brother thought it would be a great idea!
She would probably just be like wtf. And laugh so it's not really a bad thing and She's always complaining and not grateful for what she has. So yeah. Please help? And to have a good laugh this year. It's so clever! Haha
Btw I'm 14 so no hard stuff to do.

Iphone 5 shows up in itunes but not devices?

I logged into my computer hoping to import some pictures and video(i have a windows 8 laptop). But when i connected my usb to the laptop, it said itunes couldnt open, so i reinstalled it. Restarted my computer, and itunes worked again and i saw my device on itunes. But when i went to "computer", i couldnt find my iphone anywhere… So i went to device manager and my iphone was there but it said this "This device is not working properly because Windows can't load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)"

I'm not sure what to do, i went to drives and clicked "update driver for this device" and i did, but it still won't show my device in on my computer?
Any ideas?
