Why do people spend so much on their children?

They get so many things, like water speakers, top of the line gel manicure kits, and 100 dollar aeropostale gift cards from their aunts, gifts from their older siblings that are in their 20s, and like iphones, clothes from victorias secret pink (expensive clothes), clarisonics ($120 is the cheapest model), and a lot of stocking stuffers and more from all family members. Everyone else's parents pay for everything even like 100 dollar abercrombie jeans and they go to the mall every weekend to spend like $500. They also get manicures very often, with parents money of course. I'm so jealous of everyone because in daily life, I have to pay for my own clothes and everything except for some food. I have to pay for my shampoo, cereal, snacks and more. I'm 13. For christmas, I usually get $50 from my aunt and then a CD from my parents, no stocking stuffers, no clothes, nothing. My friends and people I know think my life is weird because I have a small house and a simpler life and they call my life "child abuse" even though i know it is clearly not child abuse what so ever. I'm very thankful that i do have a roof to live under and I do have a family that cares for me. I know christmas and birthdays are not for the gifts, but why do children nowadays get so much?

Advances in technology, are they making people less social? In order to answer this question for myself, I had to make a comparison to the good ol' days when I was growing up technologically, to these days now that technology is so rampant. Back then, it seems to me that there was a lot more real human interaction. When you wanted to speak with someone, it was either face to face; the home phone line; sending an email, or perhaps sending a letter. Now considering new age technology, for instance, I think that the internet and computers help with social interactions do to chat rooms, message boards, and online gaming. Also considering we now have things like iphones that are like portable computers, with different apps and social networks that are not only very convenient, but also allow people to communicate and socialize with each other quicker, more frequently, and also with people all across the world. All in all, I'm happy with the new age technology. Just as long as we don't get too reliant on them, or too lazy.

I have Problem with iphone 4s battery using 3G with three mobile, someone else?

Has someone got the same problem of me? Since I live in Cardiff and I changed my phone company (I was in Italy before) and I choosed Three mobile, I have really bad battery duration if I use 3G, I can't even use my phone without Wi-Fi 'cause it pass from 30% to 8% in five second of using.
I think is Three mobile issue, I just want to see if someone else has the same problem so I can think to change company.

Penny Boards.and IPhones and Christmas?

So, i've been given the option, to get an iPhone 5 with no other presents, or an iPhone 4s with presents. I think i have come to the conclusion that i will get an iPhone 4s because i really want a penny board. This brings me to my main question. I'm 15, have size 7 feet, a girl. I only said that because of the size difference in the boards. I'm not sure whether i should get an original penny or a nickel- which is slightly larger. I've been thinking nickel, then i have suddenly changed my mind to a penny. Just so you know, i can skate, kinda snowboard, roller skate, ice skate etc. Please answer!

Is there any chance my ex wants me back?

My boyfriend and I broke up over a week ago and haven't really contacted eachother. I sent him a snapchat ( an app on iPhone where you can send photos) and he replied, telling me I looked all dressed up. I had make up on from the night before so I replied saying I went out last night. He then replied with a photo saying where did I go and who did I go out with. Then we just started sending eachother photos still and told me to ' stop being so cute ' and then he made a comment on my behind, so I send him a photo of it and he screen shotted it and said ' haha I screenshotted it'. Then later on I sent him some funny ones of me in pigtails, and he's always said he would love to see me in pigtails. And he screenshotted every single photo of me in pigtails I sent him! He then texted me asking how I feel regarding our break up. He said he's been really busy with college just keeping distracted. I told him I miss him and he told me he misses me too. I then sent him another photo of me and he told me it was cute, then he said ' I'm sorry, I really should go, we will talk soon, I'm sorry' it's like the photo upset him or something. I told him I love him and he said he loves me. We were together a year and a bit and ended because we fought a lot. What do you think he's thinking?

What is the best tablet for me?

I know nothing about tablets, but my laptop is huge and I can't take it everywhere. I'm a college student and I have the IPhone 4S, I like everything it does but I want a large size, like a tablet. But I can't afford an iPad! I want something where I can watch netflix, access the internet, and take notes on. That's it, and the cheaper the better(college student remember.)
I just can't carry my 17 in 10 lb laptop around just to access the internet and my phone is just too small.
